Wonderful piece. I contemplated this for some time examining the various contrasts it can represent from the viewer's perspective. Coming from ranches, I relate it to the history of barbed wire in the west segmenting the land into parcels of ownership. But also how it can be interpretted as limiting to one's freedom in this world. That took me to the darker uses of the material. I found this piece's simple observation of a common material very complex and profound. Well done.
Who would think that a painting of barb wire would prompt such strong reaction? Well done, you deserve it. I love the fact that it's monochromatic, I tend to do that myself...

This is a very interesting piece. I feel like a small child looking at this wire.

A symbol, that brings about a very strong reaction to being confined, bordered, or limited. Good composition and detail of the wire.
