This is beautiful. It brings me back to my match box size room While living and working in NYC in the 70's..... It did have a great view...
Thank you for taking me there.
I appreciate the support! I gave this one away in an auction, to help raise money for a cancer patient just last week, to help him in his battle. His treatment meds. is over in the thousands for just 1 month, (and he has insurance!) I was all concerned about selling my paintings to pay bills, then I learned that I could just give them away, and help some one live another day. I realized right then, that I can finally do "something" That really makes a difference with my art. I am so thankful that I am in good health right now, and don't have the hardships that this one mans family has to have right now in his life. So, I have never ever ever called or seen one of my pieces a "Masterpiece" But I truly believe, (now) that this is the most rewarding piece of art I have ever created. It was interesting to talk to the fund raiser lady, she was so nice, and I also found out that her 18 year old son has a gift in creating, and she was asking me things, that moved me to the point of realizing that this is one of my true purposes in this life of mine.
It is like my God is telling me this should be my focal point in my art. Creating with passion, and everything thing I have in me, and letting it "Go", it is like he is saying to me, give more than you take, and I will do the rest, and don't worry if it is all wort it."
There was a feeling of comfort, and peace that followed, when I decided to change my whole focus of my art.
Can I afford to start doing this? Being a poor person my self? The answer was this,..... I can't afford not to!
So, yes Chuck, this painting has been a delight to explore. That is what I love about abstract so much. It is like I always say over, and over... "Abstract is the picture of human emotion", "Trusting in something you have no idea what the outcome my be" it is a processes, a growing one, and I am so Thankful, and honored, that I have an amazing support system from all of my friends, and fellow artist here with me to share this with. Thank you all. ~ PS, this call totally freaked me out, came right outta the blue! I hope I get another chance to do this again.

This painting took so long to create, 4 months to be exact, a true abstraction. It is called "Intimacy". I really bonded with this painting. It has made me cry, laugh, and regret some choices in my life. I had no "plan" to this painting ... It just came out from within. So with that being said I give you "Intimacy". my name is Fanny Osteen and I can be contacted at fannyaliff@yahoo.com for further information about my artwork.
