Grand So, a noted commercial designer with countless honours, has been planning this exhibition for as long as twenty years. Every single work exhibited takes its inspiration from the painter's young daughter Cally, a sensitive, observant and dainty girl full of imaginations and unfettered in her mind... The painter-father embodies harmony between the two generations in his works with bold, plain and colorful touches. Portraying the homely happenings in the daily life, the works suit both refined and popular tastes and yet command a kind of spirit that bears witness to the talent of an artistic master. Harmony between two generations takes us back to our childhood when we were so innocently artistic. To some extent, a return to innocene may bring us to a new height of art and a new land of inspirations.
