This is an oil painting on linen that has been prepared with hide glue size and oil painting primer ground entitled "Breezy Day and Old Driftwood". It is 24" square and was done in late 1987. It features an outcropping on the sandy peninsula of Marine Park at Jamaica Bay where the large driftwood gets tossed onto the shore by the winter seas. Made with heavy duty stretchers and has painted edges, it can be hung unframed. Signed JET in the wooden plank on lower left.
