This is an original JET Reversible oil painting begun in 1988 of a bridge that separates Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn from the Rockaways, in Queens NYC. The support is an original design with a dado poplar frame and slotted in 3/4" Birch hardwood plywood panel glued and screwed together then prepared w/rabbit skin glue and oil painting primer with highest quality oil paints on top. Actually it is a 14 sided painting when the frame is taken into account. It is Convertible and can either be hung on the wall or stood up as a piece of sculpture. If it is hung on the wall, the collector gains the ability to choose which side to view and when. It was worked on several times over time. It measures 21" x 17" and the opposite side finished much later is predominantly green and more abstract in nature.
