This is a reversible acrylic on wooden panel that has been pre-framed in 17" x20.5" in size that exists both as a sculpture at almost 6 feet in height and as a painting that could be just hung on the wall. It comes with various additional convertible sculptural pieces for real changes in arrangement that are possible. One side is the Flame Frame with a blue flame and on the reverse is a JET puzzle piece with many hidden and interlocking elements. This artwork was was done between 1984-87 and was exhibited at the Art Directors Club Gallery in 1987 and again at solo exhibitions at Kean University and Ringwood Library in NJ in 2007.

I love the use of the frame as a canvas! Adds so much more to the image of burning and for me, comments on the chaotic nature of fire.
