Blasted to Atoms

This acrylic on canvas "Dot Series" painting was painted in 1981-82. It became a major influence on Ross Bleckner (my teacher at NYU) when it was displayed in class and shown to him in 1983 and when he made his cell paintings later on in the mid 1980's. You can see the atomic structure, intricate detail and wild color blast and highly charged action.
