I cant even imagine the feeling of being there...thats just amazing. I have a collection of gems and stones, but it would be sooo much cooler if I had actually explored the mountains and got them myself. Its something I would really like to do sometime in my life.

About this work:


The Swiss Alps are full of crystals , the most spectacular are the quartze varieties . I have found a vein of small crystalled milky quartze near here . There is also smoky quartze and amethyst ... all I need to do is negotiate the glacier , avoid the avalanches , wade through the meltwater and mind the rockfalls :-) fun day
