Bee on Chives is a mixed media painting done as an experiment to explore the possibilities of painting onto an airbrushed watercolour background in acrylic. It proved to be possible. The reference was taken from my own photo shot in my garden using a canon 350 DSLR and a tamron zoom lense 28-300 that I use for all my work.
