Some people are scared of the bare white canvas but I love this stage: I talk to the canvas and tell it what it is to become, visualising the colour and forms before they are laid down. I have often finished the painting in my head before I've even laid a brushstroke on the surface.

A white canvas is so exciting! The possibilities are endless at this point! Its the mid-point when all the questions and doubts arise. You seem pretty organized! Makes me want to straighten up my studio but I know within a day it would be helter skelter again! Looking at the piece behind you belies your work space!!
