HaeF is a German artist. His works show his passion for photography, art and digital imaging - a creative mix of conventional techniques with modern elements and of reality with vision. His compositions are based on an extensive stock of photography, shot on his passionate travels around the world.

The originality consists of the composition of photo and underground in several layers.

Handmade wood tableaux, made of highly qualitative wood, form the stable underground. For covering those, the artist uses various techniques: Special blends of colour, mixed with natural materials as e.g. sand or fibres, spray of copper / brass… or the design of a corresponding phototechnical background . The careful choice emphazises each motif’s individuality.

The photo –either in original or digitally elaborated for different artistic impressions- is imbedded in two layers of glass and fixed with a certain distance on top of its individually structured tableau. This leaves a three-dimensional impression with the observer which is still strengthened by the natural game of light and shade on the wall.

Especially the combination of matching subjects to a picture row makes their special effect grow.

Every composition is an original with a corresponding genuineness certificate.
