The Great conflagration soars through the melancholy mist
The lost souls and spirits and the dead leap over from the ashes of time
An unfulfilled dream lasted for two thousand years
Finally was being forged from the alchemic cauldrons and materialized into a revitalizing pill.
*The Er Pang Palace was notorious for its legendary grandeur built by Emeperor Qinshihuang of Qin Dynasty circa 200BC. It was set on fire and destroy by the West-Chu hegemon, Xiang Yu during the waning phase of Qin Dynasty just a few decades after it was built. Thus throughout millenniums of Chinese history, intellectuals, poets, and scholars all wrote songs, poetries lamenting the non-existent architecture as a vehicle of expessing the passing of greatness and the vicissitude of history.
