Oh, thank you so much, Aliaena!! The simplicity of this painting, centering a single subject, goes against all rules of good composition, but being the contemporary trend, I decided to give it a try and dote immensely on the details so there was actually something worthwhile on which to focus! :o) I especially loved the translucency of the leaves with the veins silhouetted.
