About vartan:

I use thick canvas for my paintings; employing an interesting use of mixed media. Many
of my painting involve rubbing, scratching and removing paint to create texture and
layering. I also use water and oil for a transparent effect. I use a lot of vibrant colors, but
balance the colors with the texture.
I have been working in various mediums since last many years.
My present subject of work represents the five elements of Nature or the five Tattva’s.
The basic colors that dominate his paintings are white, Red & Blue. White represents
water, which is cool. Red represents fire, which is hot, and Blue represents Air, which is
Erratic. This also sums up his basic nature, which is sometimes cool, sometimes hot and
sometimes erratic. Blue has the quality of touch, Red has the quality of creating forms,
and White has the quality of taste. Vartan with his touch creates forms, which has taste.
You will find the flow of water, the heat of fire and movement & vibrations of air in my
paintings.
I'm the gateway of the moon. I rest beneath the naval. My color is Red. The red energy,
the slowest vibration I'm represented by Carnelian along With Sunstone and Orange
Aventurine. The power of red can be the power of emotion, love or power in
relationships. Spiritually value instinct, self-confidence, courage and Pleasure.
I will connect you with your inner self and guide your concentration...
Each color has its own unique effects and can be used for healing and balancing, as well
as for stimulating deeper levels of consciousness.
