About theartofemma:
I was born and raised in the north of England, have lived in different countries and currently call Spain home. I love to travel and my feet get itchy if I stay in one place too long. Travelling is also a huge inspiration for my art, mainly for my photography and pen & ink drawings. My paintings tend to be the most personal pieces I create although I make their meaning ambiguous so that the viewer can interpret the pieces however they wish. I see my pen & ink drawings as a funny circus of characters who are inspired by anything and everything. And through the lens of my camera I seek small moments of beauty or intrigue.

Thanks Eli! Yes, they are self-portraits but not always meant to look just like me - I'm the cheapest model around who's always available when I want to paint!
