About terrydurst:

I have been an artist all my life. My work is usually found object sculpture and installation, but lately I'm embarking on a path that seems to be several series of small paintings in acrylic latex on chipboard. I always discover as I go.

My degree is from Kent State University in Ohio, U.S. I have taught art at the college level for five years: Art Appreciation, Visual Design, and Photography at Cuyahoga Community College in Highland Hills, Ohio, and Painting classes at The Cleveland Institute of Art. Also at C.I.A. I was able to design and teach an all-day studio course in David Lynch's Twin Peaks, a very exciting class for me to teach. My students were, and remain, a great inspiration to me. But now I would like to really focus on making the best work I can make, and being as prolific as possible.

Archival prints are available of most of these pieces, generally around $50.00 each. Please just contact me here if you're interested.
