For the first time, the creative legacy of Atlanta artist Paul Chelko is available as prints via the new website www.PaulChelko.com. Paul, who died in 2007, left his remaining original works to his foundation and the proceeds from the sale of his work will help fund The Chelko Foundation, a GA non-profit 501c3 whose mission is to empower women through art, education and partnership by awarding scholarships in the arts and presenting special humanitarian grants.
The work is divided into seven categories: Abstracts, Women, Americana, Hearts, Faces, Graffiti and Line Drawings. Sizes range from 11” X 14” to 48” X 60”. Retail prices range from $150 to $2,500 for fine art prints with special prices for larger quantities and regular prints. Prices for originals available on request.
His original work hangs in the collections of Oprah Winfrey, Frank Sinatra, Vincent Price and Coretta Scott King to name a few. Paul taught at Emory University, The Quinlan Art Center, he was a member of the White House Art in the Embassies Program and served as the official artist for The Annual National Charity Awards Banquet in Washington, D.C.
