I am a painter from Croatia, Europe. Born February the 29th 1960. I studied political science and shortly English and Italian language in Zagreb. I am an autodidact - a self-taught painter and it is my love and my pain. My painting is such a struggle, I paint with so many torture over the canvas , colours, brushes, over my self. But I cannt stop. I paint watercolours of my hometown and binar faces. It has to do with the binar code - everything that exist can be turned into a binar code, only 2 variables can describe the universe. Amazing. Women use binar code for centuries through the special kind of lace called net/netz. And women connect people in their most personal relationships - family, love, children... Women tend to connect and to preserve relationships and men will always be hunters and ramblers and fighters. My portraits of women are imaginary and inner portraits, not of real people. They are almost symbols or signs. through them I talk to the world. I sometimes paint over the same face, over and over again. Like if I torture my own face with the makeup. The repetition, cloning, reborning every single moment...

Thanks for all your compliments -- Gallery Wrapped Canvas is thick canvas where it is wrapped around the sides and is like 1.5 inches deep. you don't need to frame the painting when it is done on gallery wrap.
