About sewsew:
Self taught, well, I muddle along painting whatever interests me, which is mainly figurative. Love life drawing and specially like to paint portraits. Commissions I especially enjoy because I love to feed off others' ideas, working together to make a picture is very satisfying. Mostly though I paint for myself and if someone else likes it, that is a bonus! My work can be found in private collections in England, Scotland, France, Canada and USA, but as yet, not in any public institutions.

I have looked at all your creations. Really great and wonderful. I hope I can be one of your students. I am so amazed how you have mastered your style especially in painting portraits. Really beautiful. Have you done many exhibitions and have sold a great number? I can imagine.

I've looked again today :), and just wanted to add - I love the fact that you use a variety of models - especially the portraits and figure drawing of MEN - there are too few beautiful works featuring male models and male subjects. Also love the use of older female models, and different body types. (Was that a nude self portrait I saw in there?) Loved the nods to Velazquez and Degas. Very rich work. OK, I'm done now - believe it or not. Best.

Wow, I've just taken a spin through your portfolio - and what a lovely trip it was! There are so many things that I liked it's hard to know where to start, but some of the nudes were exceptional, and many of the copositions and other pieces really lovely. I love your humour and your looking at yourself in the process. Iintimate, loving, and bemused. You feel like a wonderful person to know - in person. I wish you the best of luck!

Your work is beautifully done from that which you can see - I envy you that . I have to "make up" all my paintings and I run dry of ideas sometimes, I've always envied those who can paint or draw what they can see, because I can only do it with minimal success. But you're goooood.
