Oh hell, there's biting red flies, bitting gnats called "No See 'ems" because they are so minute it's hard to see them but they leave a HUGE itching welt on you, another biting critter called a white sock because it has tiny little white stripes on its legs. And don't even get me started on the mosquitos! HA! Most of Alaska is a big swamp and breeds all sorts of nasty flying things. The snow is pretty but after 9 months it gets a little old. I have to admit that I do miss it some times but only for a visit. I'll post one of my mountain photos from a visit last spring.

The best month to visit Alaska in my opinion is May. The bugs haven't come out yet, not as many tourists and the weather is usually pretty good. I spent most of my life there but finally got tired of all the snow and crappy weather. HA! Hope you have a good trip when you go.

Well Sev, I don't know if you have to be "good" LOL. It was just a thought as I am saturated with lions in my work and have so many great shots I will probably never use. But I know where you are in working only from your own experiences. I work the same way. I really don't know why I am on here. To tell the truth, I forgot why I put work on here. So my work (Invitation to a cup of Espresso) has a bitter emotion story! I'm sorry I dislike to enter into it's details .I suggested that we should drink (Latte Macchiato) with delicious Apple pie, more better than the espresso, although I'm a big fan of Italian espresso(lol). It's similar to this art space, but they also produce and sell giclee's of your artwork. You can set the amout you want for the giclee, and also get a percentage of their matting and framing for the customer. They do the rest, and it's all nearly free. D. J. DiMaria

I really dont think that its cheating using diferent softwares to make your art better, the important thing is how it looks like at the end.For example if I like a a song, dosen't matter was it made with bamboo :-) or with the latest music editing software. ......Have a nice evening. viktor
