Oh the CD, it is nothing, I started scratching little designs in the grooves and now "I can't Stop" I am not sure where it is going, maybe as print blocks, "Printing in the round" I don't know! The cupboards are from the remodel, I could not just bang them up, so I recycle them into me studio! I have been painting some and have two on the dry rack, will post soon.

My studio is currently a mess, I have been remodeling my house and using the studio for putting everything from each room I work on. It seems that some stuff from each room never finds its way back to where it came from. I am almost finished with the inside, then I get me space back! Even when it is neat it is not much to look at! Unpainted drywall, concrete floors, workbench, dry racks and lots of light!

You need to be more in control of 2 things: apiture and shutter speed... Do you have I chat on your computer... It would be much easier to explain some of these techniques on line that way... Oh hell, there's biting red flies, bitting gnats called "No See 'ems" because they are so minute it's hard to see them but they leave a HUGE itching welt on you, another biting critter called a white sock because it has tiny little white stripes on its legs. And don't even get me started on the mosquitos! HA! Most of Alaska is a big swamp and breeds all sorts of nasty flying things. The snow is pretty but after 9 months it gets a little old. I have to admit that I do miss it some times but only for a visit. I'll post one of my mountain photos from a visit last spring.

The best month to visit Alaska in my opinion is May. The bugs haven't come out yet, not as many tourists and the weather is usually pretty good. I spent most of my life there but finally got tired of all the snow and crappy weather. HA! Hope you have a good trip when you go.

Forgive me, I'm still getting the hang of this... No, I don't make the clasps. That's on my agenda to learn. Basically, yes, you would solder the little loops onto the bar. I'm still working on flame skills. That one took me between 35 and 40 hours I think? I fiddled a bit with it, so I had to estimate it. I made a slightly narrower version of this as a bracelet that was 6 3/4" long recently, and it took me approximately 16 hours. Halogen lighting! I don't know! I'll have to go play with that! Good idea.
