My work is neo-classic surrealism, borrowing from time – a merging of ancient and future and ending in inner landscapes independent of time. You will see my fascination with light source and shadows, a world of sentinel figures standing quietly in serene environments and monolithic architecture. Through a limited color palette I am able to simplify the relationship of light and shadow, thus bringing a stronger composition to view.
This lifetime is about the search for the spiritual, a reconnection to the divine – the journey to rediscover "who I really am." The themes of quiet, austere environments, recurring static figures watching and all with an edge of whimsy…these relate to my personality. There is often mirth peeking out from under a quiet stream of consciousness.
These images of the sentinel, beings that stand quiet guard, have evolved from a more organic human form. Early on, these forms were more balletic in nature, the oval heads floating above the body. They slowly evolved into the more structured and architectural forms you see in my work today. The Divine Self as the watcher of thoughts is probably closest to the true interpretation of these images.

I like your STYLE. it reminds me of the old east village in new york. it brings up echoes of the renaissance and the pulse of the edgy sarcasm of the now. Surrealism, classicism and whateverism...they all are exciting under the dominance of your style. Good Luck.
