About sanchezjan:
Jan Alfred Sanchez or Jan as he is fondly called, is a self-made artist, with a keen sense of design and visual aesthethics. His craft reached a defining moment during his life in college when he joined the Malate Literary Folio of De La Salle University in Manila. This is where he honed his talent and fully expressed his passion for art, which established him as one of the most prominent visual artists among his contemporaries.
Jan's works consist mainly of abstract paintings and illustrations which convey images that are conceived through the mind's eye where the reality is depicted in vivid colors and lucid details in the realm of dreams.
His influences range from the classic masters to modern artists: Van Gogh, Matisse, Dali, Klimt, Pollack and Warhol to name a few. From these greats he has developed his style and continues to draw inspiration from them in his continuing journey of cultivating his art.
Jan is 25 years of age, living with his family in the Philippines.
