About Me...
Now working as a Principal News Photographer at The Hindu newspaper, in Hyderabad, India. I completed my Diploma in Traditional Sculpture and Architecture in the year 1978 from the Endowments Department, Hyderabad. Won the first prize at the Navarang Chitrakala Niketan competition 1978 in Guntur. Won the many awards for excellent photography, including the A. P. Press Photographers Association award, All India Salon award from Kolkata; Better photography Award. World Photography Day award instituted by Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists; and World Photography Day award by A. P. Press Photographers Association, Chaya Chitra Kala Prapoorna Award by Giani Foundation, 2007. As a Sculptor worked on various projects. Specialises in Stone, Wood, Metal Sculpters. Also worked as a Layout Artist, Illustrator, Caricaturist and Graphic Artist in Sitara, Newstime and Eenadu news papers in Hyderabad. Later on, I worked as a Senior Artist in The Hindu, Chennai, and also drew Caricatures for Sportstar magazine, Illustrations and Graphics for The Hindu.
