About pfeight:

I have a degree in fine arts, but make my living as a nurse in the operating room. Much of my artwork is based upon my experiences of over 30 years in the operating room (including 4 years in the navy during the Vietnam war). I like to create an underpainting of drips and splatters and then incorporate this surface in figurative works or expand the abstract qualities of the images that present themselves in the paint.
I live and work in and around the city of Pittsburgh.
