About peterleeartist:

Whether I use real objects or paint from photographs, I first spend some time trying to feel my source materials. Then I create stories around them and make painting decisions based on my stories.
All my paintings carry some sort of stories, which are told to their viewers in visual languages such as color, texture, and design.

I'm a self-taught artist - No,that's not totally true. Although I haven't studied for an art degree, I have refined my skills by taking lessons and classes, by reading books, and by watching other artists paint and their paintings.
Over fifteen years, I've been painting on a daily basis, exploring every medium available.
Nowadays, I'm pretty much settled with oil (for its depth and versatility) and watercolor (for its spontaneity and unpredictability).
