About paul fenwick:

I produce paintings, collages and drawings based on the human face. I began by producing tight representational portraits. I also work from magazine images as a starting point. I no longer need my paintings to look like anyone in particular. By working this way the viewer is able to bring their own experience to the images and make a more personal connection for themselves.
