• I have been a successful professional artist for the last 18 years
• I am a visual artist, producing acrylic and oil painting, collage, Islamic calligraphy, and ‘wood painting’ a technique that involves making abstract designs and mosaics out of diseased wood

• My main influences come from my personal life experiences of migration, culture, my beliefs as a Muslim, and my love of colour

Thank you, Mo! Yes, it is not where I expected to come out at either. I was expecting maybe more dark. lol But I find my art shows me, lighter colors from a lighter abstracted mood. I like it. The break did me well, as it has in my past. I still grow technically and creatively even if I have not been practicing creating. I get to teach myself something that I learned in my absence. On sito.org ,one artist did half of his( i believe it was an 'landscape style' split in half) page and then sent it to the other artist-friend who stiched it together with his art,and they posted it on sito,as an experiment,but what was amazing,was that the image really caught my eye and is one of my favorite images on sito,out of some ten thousand images. will try to find this image go-to ady and give you or any reading this a peek. ASIDE,I WOULD BE WIDE OPEN TO SUCH A COLLABORATION LIKE DONE ON SITO,BUT GUESS WE'D HAVE TO POST THE FINAL IMAGE/COLLABORATION ON (BOTH) OF OUR ARTBREAK PAGES. ZACK MIGHT BE OPEN TO SOMTHING LIKE THIS? OR WOULD WE BE BREAKING ANY ARTBREAK RULES BY DOING THIS. CHEERZ FROM DAWK

many thankx for the 'embyro' comp,and it would take an half hour long 'lecture' on ;how this is 'done' but it does involve an 'arsenal' of some 12....years of macro and close up photos of gems-minerals-fossils,stones,which allows one to access the many thousands of pics,and create the' accidental' final image. coming from a man with such an extensive "CV" the comp was one which will be cherished,thankx,my friend MONTROVE,and your art has some awsome-beautiful patterns,whiich we have in common. cheerz from DAWK
