Mi piacciono le persone, è il motivo per cui le dipingo. Mi piace il mondo interiore di ognuno, negativo o positivo, perchè ha un valore inestimabile e illuminante per tutti. Mi piace far notare alla gente che è ancora possibile, anche se difficile, dire cose nuove in un mondo usato, strausato e logorato dove, alcune di quelle persone che dipingo, giocano a nascondere le più misere cattiverie.

I like people, and for this motive I paint persons. I like internal world of each, negative or positive, because it has for everybody an inestimable and illuminating value. I like say to people that are still possible, even if hard, speack new things in a used and overused world, where some of those people that I paint, play to hide the most miserable wickedness.

Mir gefallen die Personen und das Motiv, warum ich sie male. Mir gefällt die innere Welt eines Jeden, ob negativ oder positiv, weil es einen unbestimmbaren und erhellenden Wert für alle hat. Mir gefällt, den Leuten mitzuteilen, dass es in dieser verbrauchten, ermüdeten und verseuchten Welt möglich ist, dass einige dieser Personen die male, versuchen die unschönen Böshaftigkeiten zu verstecken.
