Martha Elisa Bojórquez (born 1955) comes from Sinaloa, a northwestern state of Mexico. Since her childhood, she has been in love with visual arts and now dedicates her work to contemporary expressionist painting in oil, acrylic, encaustic, and mixed techniques. Her art contains both the figurative and the abstract element and shows an exceptional diversity in combining forms, colors and textures. During the last decade, she has been presenting her paintings in numerous personal and group exhibits. She began in Mexico and has now expanded her presence outside her native country to include The United States, Canada, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Italy, Spain, Portugal, where there continues to be a growing interest among fine galleries, museums and art collectors. She now resides in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and continues to create extraordinary work in her new studio nestled in a serene ambience.
