i was born and raised in Southampton, an artists community on the east end of long Island, I graduated with a studio arts degree with a concentration in painting. I am currently living in the Hamptons but spend time in nyc on the weekends. My work is mostly based on the process our bodies go through as we age. I enjoy creating paintings which exploit the flaws in people, their wrinkles, their discoloration, and their blemishes. When these stereo-typical ugly people are put on a canvas they become visualy appealing.
