About makarowski:
Wassily Kandinsky, a pioneer of classical modernism, together with Klee, Braques,Picasso,Miro,Malewitsch and others have had the main influence on the work of Reiner Makarowski.. He began to paint at the age of 12 ..now he's 52 and still painting.....with growing enthusiasm. There's no hidden message in his paintings....it is pure pleasure in playing with colours, textures, shapes, different materials etc.
He is mainly autodidact...has worked as a teacher for sports and geographie and also as a trainer for IT-service and programming-languages. Besides as a semi-professional artist.
Since 2006 he's a professional artist, exhibitions mostly in the local area around his hometown Erfurt. Contact to galleries across Europe are welcome.

hi makarowski ----- no coz - zdecydowana wiekszosc twoich pracek to popluczyny stylow wypracowanych w miedzywojniu , brakuje im nie tylko wspoczesnosci ,one(twoje pracji ) sie nie rozwijaja ,i chociaz tego typu pracki w postaci reprodukcji mozna spotkac w dworcowych kioskach ,nie sa jednak nieinteresujace ,sa ale traca myszka jak stare dowcipy ----------- nice works ....................................

Thank you for such a warm welcome and appreciation, Reiner! Your body of work is so well developed and complex, I'm in complete admiration! I plan to put up some of my little nature watercolors, perhaps today. I think they are exemplary watercolors but they really are more self interest pieces and not at all expressive of this inner turbulence I have in me that has been threatening to break loose for over a decade now. I hope that while I'm here on Artbreak that I can actually find this cohesive body of expression in myself. You know, that notable voice, that signature look that penetrates the psyche. We will see.... It always helps to be around other artists. I have been living in a remote area for some time now and just crave art talk and art viewing. Keep in touch and just know I'm trying to break loose! LOL Thank you, Julie
