About lizturtureja:

I am a Colorado based, 39 year old, married woman and mother of three, grandmother of two. I am also, an emerging artist that just recently discovered my gift for painting, digital photography and other forms of crafts and artwork.

After a freak accident left me permanently disabled and going stir crazy at home with twins under the school age, I needed an outlet for the forced lifestyle or going completely insane.

Well insanity wasn't really a good option for me. I remembered when I was a young girl that I loved to create. I wrote poems, short stories and dabbled with painting. So I decided, since I have nothing better to do besides lament the crazy turn of events, I decided to paint. And the paintings seen on the listed website was the result.

After a time I discovered that I'm also not to bad at photography and digital art from the real life photos that I took and I loved working with silk flowers, glass and welding was very therapeutic as well.

So that’s my story for now. It is always a work in progress. Please, come check out my work and give me some feedback, which is always most welcome! An artist cannot survive in a vacuum, right?

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work.
