Born in Zagreb, Croatia, Leyla Murr lives and works in the United Kingdom.


My paintings are essentially a reflection of my mood, feelings and the environment I find myself in, and as such are a constant subject to change. The only constant it seems is the strong presence of colour which I love. I try to incorporate it in a variety of forms, compositions and materials which keep my work alive and fresh, and my interest and excitement constant and intense.
