About katpickett:

went to watkins college of art and design in nashville, tennessee. then i transferred to herron art school at iupui in indianapolis. now i am taking a break from school and i am very busy taking care of my son, charlie, who was born in july. he gives me a lot of inspiration, but not a lot of time to put that inspiration to canvas. i work at an art store and i love trying out new media. right now, most of my work is smaller, and i am still trying to find a definite style. i love the journey, though, and i am not in a hurry to mature as an artist. i have fun when i draw or paint and i don't want that to change. but i must say, artbreak.com makes me want to paint 24/7!! so look for more from me soon!
