There is something almost magical about your work, it exudes a feeling of both curiosity and delight. When I look at a piece like "Purple Rain," I find myself in a state of whimsical wonder and glee. The rain has always been a favorite of mine and since living in Los Angeles it is somewhat of a rarity. This picture is truly special and I feel proud to select it as my first favorite on this site. My work has been exhibited in an Amsterdam Art Gallery, published in Dutch digital photography magazines, featured in an Italian online gallery and is currently showcased on the Saatchi Online Gallery.

In 2005 we moved The Netherlands to New Zealand. Now we've built up our live here we feel it as a privilege to be residents of this beautiful country and to live amongst people who are proud to be New Zealanders. For me it's also an ongoing inspiration for my work.
