About jerrykoolkeogh:
Have been drawing and sketching since childhood, and later at the age of 14, painting in oils and acrylic, also pastels, as well as working with modeling clay and making moulds. From 1975 to 2012 my paintings (www.jerrykool.com ) have covered a wide range of subjects, Portraits, Landscapes, Seascapes and Wildlife. Since 1990 I have been inspired by the stories from Irish Celtic Mythology – especially old Celtic Romances. These wonderful tales are the folklore of a people to whom story telling came as naturally as breathing, and even after many centuries still make fascinating reading. They satisfy a need that is deep in the human spirit.
