“Through the use of vivid colour, life experience, the natural world and imagination, I endeavor to create art of beauty and timelessness.”
Gina became a painter at a very young age always driven to make art and express herself through landscape painting and portraiture. Through the years, she has worked in the fields of freelance illustration, graphic arts and computer typesetting, later to return to her first love of Fine Art, creating art of beauty and splendor through her representational works as well as stimulating interest and imagination through the non objective and symbolic art in which she creates.
Born in Toronto, she has lived and worked in Ontario with a few years living on Vancouver Island. Her many travels influence the works that she creates.
She studied at The Ontario College of Art and Design with her final year abroad in Florence, Italy (98-99) where some of her recent artwork was conceptualized (including the first of a series of limited edition prints that she has introduced. She is a member of CARFAC Ontario.
Gina’s art can be found in numerous private and corporate collections across Canada and abroad. She has completed hundreds of commission portraits and her architectural renderings have been reproduced onto Christmas cards and watermarks on cheques. Gina always welcomes new commission work.
