Giovanni Balletta, for brevity BANNE, was born in Naples in sunned 9 an August of 1975. His intial approaches to the art are of figurative type and with a collection of nude portraits (pencil technique) participates to collective exhibtion with the association “Help me” in Turin in 2007. His designer talent permit to him to reproduce, for delight, the artworks of the great artists, easily passing from Caravaggio to Picasso. At the same time, he studies the works of great Masters which Salvatore Emblema, Pollock and Rothko with attention to the poetic, the gesture and the essence. The image, the space “rethinking concept” elaborated from these great Masters will have a strong infuence on its successive production that it will hold to baptism with the work “Rethinking Emblema” (100 x 100 cm acrylic on pvc).

Today BANNE abandons the canvas in order to dedicate himself completely to the PVC, support allows that it to experience a new type of aesthetic approach. The light on, for and through the painting, where the observer is not only a passive spectator but also the user-consumer of the artwork, with images that navigate between a declared multi conjugation. He faces the spazialism with its travels in transparencies, the street art with the materials and the colors, without to forget his “graphic essence”, in a harmony of cos-existence that trasform his art ito an inimitable signature.
