Fabiola Barna lives and works in Siena.

Painting is his greatest passion: in thirty years of career he has worked hard in Italy and his works are part of Italian and foreign collections. Painting is therapy for you that enhances creativity.
Fabiola's painting is "action painting" fast jet, which drenched colors mellow and rich salt from his unconscious, whose transposition on canvas does not require any proof or sketch. His works consist of warm colors and metal mixtures by dense, bright, wide brush strokes and soft wrap-around where the rounded shapes are often the unity and balance that are composed of opposites deep. His palette is rich decorated with touches of gold, silver and copper struck by the light iridescent shine.
His art is integrated with the poem: Fabiola each work alongside a brief composition of Japanese origin: HAIKU the hallmark of a refined search.
Complete artist engages in works of jewelry and is interested in any experience of expression as the mail-art and the creation of artist's books.

Fabiola Barna vive e lavora a Siena.

La pittura è la sua più grande passione: in trent’anni di carriera ha lavorato moltissimo in Italia e le sue opere fanno parte di collezioni italiane ed estere. Dipingere è per lei terapia che esalta la creatività.
La pittura di Fabiola è “Pittura d’azione”: veloce e di getto, che intrisa di colori pastosi e ricchi sale dal suo inconscio, la cui trasposizione su tela non richiede alcuna prova o schizzo. Le sue opere sono costituite da colori caldi e metallici, da impasti densi e luminosi, da tratti di pennello larghi morbidi e avvolgenti dove le forme rotondeggianti rappresentano spesso l’unità e l’equilibrio che si compongono di opposti profondi. La sua tavolozza ricchissima viene impreziosita da tocchi di oro, argento e rame che colpiti dalla luce risplendono iridescenti.
La sua arte si integra con la poesia: ad ogni opera Fabiola affianca una sua breve composizione di matrice giapponese: l’HAIKU segno distintivo di una ricerca raffinata.
Artista a tutto tondo si cimenta nella realizzazioni di gioielli ed è interessata ad ogni esperienza espressiva come la Mail-art e la realizzazione di Libri d’artista.
Il suo colore preferito é il rosso.

Avvertivo il bisogno di lavorare con la materia, con la profondità delle resine, con la loro struttura, recuperandone la ricchezza pastosa e, allo stesso tempo, riscoprendo la forza del colore.
Passando dai riflessi dell’oro, dell’argento e del rame, alle oscurità brillanti del nero e del blu, per arrivare alla forza screziata del rosso acceso.
Le qualità cromatiche e materiche continuano a suggerirmi di lavorare sui contrasti di colore, costruendo motivi e ritmi geometrici alternati a superfici monocromatiche.
Data la ricchezza della materia, anche la sola contrapposizione di campiture a tinta unita di diverso colore può produrre effetti di grande impatto visivo.
Per esaltare i rilievi è necessario che la luce che investe l’opera sia radente e accarezzi le superfici.”
