Hello I am Ed Smith and I have owned and operated on my own my art gallery and frame shop since 1996, and have loved every minute of it! I love all forms of art and the freedom of expression art represents. I am here helping artists get noticed.
I am an artist without a brush. My personal artistic expression is in my custom picture framing. I have over 4500 different frames in my store. This is my "artist's palette" and each frame has it's own voice. To me the perfect frame job is a personal reflection of the taste and personality of each person I am working with, their environment, ideas and the feelings or emotion the art brings to them. Then I finish it off with my own creativity, experience and product knowledge and of course, the inspiration I get from each piece of art laid before me. I have always felt the framing is like a pair of caring arms wrapped around the art to protect it, and hold it up for the world to see. Art and framing, they were just made for each other!
If you are an artist who has an interest in possible wholesales or consignment of your work, let me know. Some times I am adding art to my gallery.
