About duve84:
Graduated from GMIT with a degree in art and design and textile design, since then iv been working as a free lance designer and artist, recently iv decided to study some more, so iv started a graphic design course in dublin. My work has been on exhibition in Habitat, Brown Thomas, the Loft gallery, Dublin Civic Theater Tallaght, Ballina arts centre etc. It is continuously on sale in urban outfitters(dublin) Gallery number one (DUBLIN), the loft gallery (dublin), Capre Diem(Killarney.Co. Kerry) I have recently been commissioned to do some prints for absolute zero a lounge bar in Nejmegen (Holland), also iv done work for Toyota and other small companies n bands in my area. My work has recently been featured in DIGITAL ARTS, and will feature in the big book of contemporay illustration in 2009 so check it out!
A bit about my work: its all inspired by the urban environment, the idea is about searching for a utopian vision within this environment.
All images are either digitally printed on fabric and then stretched, or paint on canvas, I also design dresses and accessories.
