"I am interested in painting as the solid evidence of a process of
intuitive introspection more than as a means of communication.
Therefore, the reading of the images conforms more to the vernacular
view than to a strict visual grammar."

Juan Manuel McGrath was born on June 24, 1984 in Mexico City and now lives in Guadalajara, Jalisco. He has just finished his BA in Design at the University ITESO. Also studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid). He is now a full time artist looking for representation.

Oye me gustó mucho tu trabajo, me recuerda mucho la obra de J.M.W. Turner de quien soy super fan. Es curioso, yo también estuve en el Iteso, tal vez seamos hasta vecinos!
