Darkest.Artist has throughout her life been influenced by revolutionaries and independent thinkers. She uses this inspiration to draw forth her own vision and depict the political, spiritual, and economic turmoil present in the world around her. She uses her talents to highlight the many injustices and imbalances of modern times and expose them to a larger audience.
Darkest.Artist received her Bachelors Degree in English and a Minor in Art from UW-River Falls. She is schooled in many forms of art, from writing to painting, drawing and sculpture. Online, she has been showing at RedBubble, DeviantArt, ArtBreak and other online galleries, where a larger selection of her works may be viewed.
Darkest.Artist is steadily adding items for purchase and many originals are for sale. She can also be commissioned for portraits.
If you’d like to get in touch with her outside of artbreak, she can be reached at darkest.artist@yahoo.com
Thanks for your interest and enjoy the gallery :)

I have to thank you for added me to friends and comment. I also do like your works. They are ful of joy and very playful. Greetings Stacho. Why the name Darkestartist? I don`t see any darkness only a little bit kind of sadness. Maybe it is the back of joy and play. Sorry I tell to much.

Thank you for the compliment and favourite, I appreciate it very much. Your work is very interesting, I like the life drawings and also Nobody is my favourite, and I like January too. Such diversity and experimentation.

I've looked at your works a second time and I really have taken a liking to your landscapes. I like the dark, quirky, expressionist tendancies in your work, and it seems to me that the way you handle the forms of nature- somewhat extremely- are also deeply felt and well composed and in them your paintings become... ...poetic! (don't worry, I mean in the tradition of Poe and Baudelaire). Keep doing whatever it is you are!

Thank you for stopping by and complimenting my art. Interesting work. Looks like some pieces are deep thoughts and reflections on soulfully painful elements and times.
