About cmeyers:

Charles Meyers was educated at Columbia University, MFA Fine Arts/Art History and City College in New York City, BA and did post graduate studies at Cranbrook Academy of Art. He is on the Board of Directors of Artist Talk on Art in New York City, and was Professor of studio art and art history at the City College, City University of New York.

Mr. Meyers has received many honorariums, prizes and awards including the prestigious Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation grant, New Millennium Artist in Residence for the Newark Museum, Valparaiso Artist in Residence, Spain, Artist in Residence for the Department of Interior, Everglades, Florida and the 100 year old Bird Cliff Art Colony in Woodstock, N.Y.

His work has most recently been exhibited at Galeria Nacional, Costa Rica, Paterson Museum, New Jersey, Hudson Opera House, New York and Newark Museum among others.

My art making is involved in defining my personal viewpoint and imagery.
