About chavacure:
BIOGRAPHY
Chava Cure, whose real name is Ana Isabel Cure, was born in Palmira, Colombia the 19th of July, 1955. Chava's innate artistic ability was evident from an early age. She studies at Bellas Artes Academy in Barranquilla, where she obtained the B.A. in Fine Arts in 1978. From 1974 to 1981 she participated in both, collective and individual exhibitions. From 1984 to 1997 she designed jewelry for two important Jewelers in Barranquilla. In 1995 she decided to continue with fine arts. She started taking courses in oil and sculpture and participated in exhibitions from 1997 until today. Her work continues to evolve. When she finished her studies at Bellas Artes she worked with pastel and charcoal. During this time her work was primarily figurative in nature. Later she began to explore watercolors and sculpture. Her work was realistic and figurative. With time she transitioned into to surrealism and finally abstraction. Her emotionally charged abstract paintings convey her feelings and emotions to the viewer allowing the viewer a rare glimpse into an artist's psyche..…

Hola Ana Isabel Un trabajo muy intimo y a su vez energico, me transmite un desorden - ordenado, que para mi tiene mucho que ver con la representacion de la ciudad, el ritmo, la prisa, pero a su vez la capa de orden que lo relaciona todo. Hace tiempo hice una serie sobre ciudades y me han recordado mucho a tus obras, si las quieres ver estan en mi pagina Enhorabuena por tu trabajo
