About cbrennan:
I am a painter working in the St. Louis, MO area. I've been exhibiting my work for over 20 years and have been teaching at the collegiate level for over 10 years. I am particularly drawn to architectural subjects partly because of the inherent rhythm, and mostly because of the play of light and shadow that serves to create an introspective mood and a visual drama.
The majority of my paintings are invented, based on various sketches, photos, and impressions, and are pieced together to depict places that may seem believable and perhaps familiar.
