About carolyn26:
Having always loved art and the beautiful world in which we live, I began to paint after my retirement from education. Seven years ago, I began taking classes. Now I am hooked, and have my own studio and paint every day. I love my fellow artists and am so happy to have found this wonderful, inspirational gift. I am a member of the Marco Island Center for the Arts and the Von Liebig Center for the Arts in nearby Naples. I also enjoy painting with the Outdoor Artists of Marco Island.
Eight months out of the year, I live with my husband on Marco Island, Florida. Everyone who lives here calls this place 'Paradise'. So I paint many aspects of 'Paradise' including landscapes, animals and seascapes. We love it here.
During the summer months, we go back to northeast Ohio where we raised our family, to be near family and former friends. I also enjoy painting while in Ohio, as summer was always my favorite time of the year.
