About capestrani:
..l’ampia raccolta di olii e disegni. è una sintesi più che bastevole a definire una poetica, le sue motivazioni, la fantasia e l’invenzione, infine gli esiti formali cui Capestrani approda dopo lungo studio ed appassionata ricerca, nella quale ha avuto agli inizi, come maestro Gino Meloni.
Abruzzese d’origine, il pittore risiede a Desio, in provincia di Milano.
… si tratta invero di un artista interessante e complesso: dipinge ad olio sostanzialmente come un figurativo moderno che ricordi la lezione degli espressionisti e il gusto meloniano del colore.
Ma , soprattutto, Capestrani si rivela fornito delle attitudini più indiscutibili nelle sue matite, nelle quali aggiunge alle doti native un ineccepibile bagaglio tecnico, sicurezza di tono, felicità di scavo psicologico.
