Hi Blake...well Gypsy was crate trained...when I went out to work she was put in the crate...and my job afforded me to be able to come home every two hours or so to take her out...so until she was about three months old and housebroken she was crated....Now Juno is another story...Gypsy was easy to train...had her since 6 weeks old ...now she's 10...dog is like gold...Juno is 14 months old..i got her at 11 months old and she wasn't housebroken and she didn't get much training...and from what I've been told she was abused...so now I'm still trying to bond with her...she's coming along with her training...but it takes time...the dog needs to bond with me and have every confidence I'm on her side...as long as she is good...when she misbehaves she is sent to the crate....and if I have to go out for a few hours...never more than that .....she is crated.....can't come home to bedlam...when she is ready...she will be allowed to stay in my bedroom ..when I go out or for misbehaving...but we are far from that yet....Gypsy was a piece of cake to train...she bonded with me very young...so she wants to please me and follow my lead...she is actually helping me to train Juno...she barks at Juno if she is being bad etc....she's awesome...best wishes... and the better abstract artists as yourself turned my opinion around on abs...there are a few artists that I enjoy there abs...some I won't even bother to look...some looks like scribbling...doesn't do it for me....Happy painting...

Thank you so much. Regarding She Reads Leviathon, the effect you perceive is equal parts ripple in the paper and Intended effects created by the paint. About BlakeMcArthur:

I am an abstract painter from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. My work, which has been described as being both organic and industrial at the same time, can be found in both private and corporate collections across Canada, as well as in the United States.

Working with acrylics on paper and canvas, I strive to create lush abstract paintings that allow the viewer to explore and discover on their own, without having the constraints of realism imposing a view of what they should be seeing. I consider my most successful pieces to be those that result in the greatest number of distinct interpretations.

Although my style would be labelled as abstract expressionism, I don’t attempt to create abstract representations of particular objects or concepts, but rather simply try to express myself through colours , shapes and textures. Music is an important part of the creation process for me, and I allow myself to be carried away by the music I listen to as I paint, letting it, rather than conscious thought, guide my hands.

Although I have done a few canvas pieces, most of my work has been done on Winsor & Newton 140lb 760x560mm (30"x22") paper, with acrylics.
